Willard King and Robert Cairns opened Sunset Hills Automotive in 2002 because they wanted to provide Honest, Reliable, High Quality automotive service at a reasonable price to the people that live and work in the Reston area. A very simple concept, but so important when you are an independent repair shop without a large corporation behind you. Every customer’s satisfaction is their goal. They are just as diligent when hiring their staff.
John Hill - Manager Reston
John Hill has been in the automotive repair industry since 1983 working as a technician, service advisor and service manager. He is an ASE certified service advisor and has been factory trained by Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Isuzu and Kia Motors. John joined our team in 2012.
Dave Fulton -Manager Round Hill Exxon
Dave Fulton started in the auto repair business in 1987 working as a manager of a very successful service station in Fairfax. In 1995, he opened his own location in Ashburn extending his success to Loudoun County. Dave joined our team in 2012 and brings his history of excellent customer service and quality automotive repairs to Round Hill Exxon.
Jason Rodriguez -Manager Baron Cameron
Jason Rodriguez joined our team in 2014 as the manager at our Baron Cameron location. Jason has worked as a Ford, Lincoln, Mercury certified technician and service writer since 2002.
Gary Holt -Manager - Lowes Island - Sterling
Gary Holt joined our team in 2015 as the Lead Technician and Service Manager at our Lowes Island location.Gary has worked as an ASE certified technician and Service Manager since 1981.
Bill Layton -Service Writer Reston
Bill Layton has been in the automotive repair industry since 1985. He has been a service advisor and shop manager. He is factory-trained by Michelin, BFGoodrich, and Goodyear. Bill joined our team in 2010.
Jim Rives -Service Writer Reston
Jim Rives joined our team in 2013. He’s been in the automotive service industry since 1977 working as a ASE-certified master technician, ASE-certified service advisor and shop manager. He’s factory trained by Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Isuzu, and Kia.
Kevin King -Service Writer Reston
Kevin King joined our team in 2010 as a general service technician and moved up to our service writer counter team in 2014. He is factory-trained by Snap-on Equipment as an alignment/suspension specialist.
